    Great boots

Posted by Keith on 18th Nov 2020

I love these boots! I use them as my out in the yard/workshop boots. I can slide them on and off without sitting down or using my hands which is important to me because I am carrying stuff in my hands on the way to the workshop. They are nice and warm when I am standing on the concrete floor of my unheated shop. I like the idea of having a hard toe when splitting wood or running a chainsaw. The toe box is nice and roomy so the hard toe doesn't bang my little toe the way my other steel toe boots do. The soles give great traction on all kinds of surfaces. They have two down sides I have Identified. With some of my socks they have a nearly magic ability to suck them off my feet and wad the socks up under my arch as I walk. With most socks they are fine, but they gobble up the white cotton pair I have. The other downside is that they are HUGE! They fit just like they should on my size 13 feet, but the same thick layer of EVA foam that makes them nice and warm and stiff enough to slide them on without hands makes me look like a cartoon character. They are well made and holding up great with lots of use.
