HydroFeed works differently than a standard hose-end sprayer. Designed for liquid chemicals, as the chemical is being drawn out of the tank through the tube, water is replaced. Because the chemical is denser than the water, it stays at the bottom of the 32-ounce chemical tank, not being diluted with the additional water. This is why the tank turns clear after your chemical runs out.
The Chapin 4702 features a 32-ounce, clear plastic tank so you easily see when the chemical has run out. The filter basket sits inside the cap and catches any debris as you fill the tank and the connection allows you attach it to a standard outdoor spigot. When the tank runs clear, it’s easy to drain with the attached plug and valve. Do not use with drip irrigation systems.
