The Smith STAINLESS STEEL filter is made from Stainless Steel throughout. Filtering media consist of no less than 7 layers of corrugated Stainless Steel, expanded through specific feeds to assure maximum filtering and internal loading capabilities. Filter elements are processed from Stainless Steel sheets, expanded to .032 strand. Frames are made from Stainless Steel, no less than .024 thickness, joined with Stainless Steel rivets. This filter will retain 300 grams of dust per 2.25 sq. ft. (20 x 20 filter) of filter area. Resistance when clean is .075 w.g. at 350 FPM air velocity. Maximum temperature range for the Smith STAINLESS STEEL is 900 degrees F. The STAINLESS STEEL Mesh filter is designed for applications that require the utmost in filtering ability. Stainless Steel will withstand extreme heat and corrosive solutions that both Aluminum and Galvanized filters can't handle. The "CADILLAC" of filters!
