Description: Add a J Hook Jr Top Retainer is specially made to fit thinner filters (like Cannonware and Update filters) and will ensure your baffle filter will not be pulled back by the fan when there is no top filter track. Simply hook it on the back top of the filter near the center between the baffles, snap it into place, and then slide the filter into the hood as normal. The design allows for in-field adjustment for a tighter or looser fit depending on your needs.
It is easily removable, making it a better solution than permanently mounted options. It is made to fit all sizes of standard baffle filters, and allows enough clearance to fit nearly any hood system. Pop them off for cleaning or to reuse on a new filter. Each Top Retainer is sold individually and will work with one on each filter in most systems. If the filter still pulls back even after tightening the Top Retainer, you may need to add another to each filter (not typically needed). Made of high quality 22G stainless steel and designed and produced in the USA. These are also compatible with the Add-a-J Hook Jr's that are placed on the bottom of the filter as well.
Fits 1.5" depth size filters such as Cannonware, Economy, etc (see photo for typical filter type). **Now with a deeper throat and taller catch point to fit even more hood systems!**
