    Chapin’s 88000A 80-pound residential salt and ice melt spreader works well with your preferred ice melt, halite or small particulates. It’s simple to operate and holds up season-after-season. The baffles adjust for edge control and the pneumatic tires handle uneven ground.
     
    Designed for residential use, Chapin’s 88000A 80-pound residential salt and ice melt spreader has a weather-resistant poly hopper to fill with your preferred ice melt, halite or small particulates. Supported on a powder-coated steel frame with an ergonomically designed bail system and U-shaped flip up handle, it’s simple to operate and holds up season-after-season. The baffles adjust for edge control and the pneumatic tires handle uneven ground. This unit is not recommended for rock salt, sand or sand mixes, pelletized lime, lime or lime powders. A spiked auger helps tear up clumps and keeps the ice melt moving freely. Covered by Chapin’s 2-year limited warranty.
