Chapin’s 88300B 80-pound poly SureSpread salt and ice melt spreader has a rugged powder-coated steel frame, solid steel linkage, T-shaped handle with rubber hand grips, full gate control and aggressive toothed auger.
     
    Chapin’s 88300B 80-pound poly SureSpread salt and ice melt spreader is commercial-grade and perfect for plow and snow removal companies or a residential driveway. The 80-pound poly hopper is rust and weather resistant. With a rugged powder-coated steel frame, solid steel linkage, T-shaped handle with rubber hand grips, full gate control and aggressive toothed auger, it’s the full package. It also comes with a rain/snow cover to protect the product during snowy or rainy weather. Adjust the front and side baffles so you’re not spreading product where it’s not needed. Tough 12-inch pneumatic tires handle uneven winter ground. This unit is not recommended for use with sand or sand mixes, pelletized lime, lime or lime powders. Covered by Chapin’s 5-year limited warranty.

    • Gate lever: change the gate opening based on the particulates; recommended for use with salt, halite, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride and calcium chloride (small and pelletized particulates)
    • Tires and accessories: 12-inch pneumatic, wide-tread tires move over uneven ground; rain/snow cover included to protect particulates while spreading
