Designed for residential use, Chapin’s 89200A broadcast turf spreader is designed with a weather-resistant poly hopper that holds 80 pounds of seed or fertilizer and sits on a powder-coated steel frame. Its enclosed gear system is protected from the elements and it’s easy to push with an ergonomic bail system. Easily choose the right setting for fertilizer or seed with the fully adjustable gate dial and the 12-inch pneumatic tires run over uneven ground. This unit is not recommended for use with rock salt, sand and sand mixes, lime, lime mixes, and pelletized lime.
