The Smith FOAM FILTER consists of a layer of 30 PPI foam, enclosed in two pieces of .020 expanded aluminum and surrounded by a frame made from sheet Aluminum, commercially known as 3003-H16, .025 in thickness. Media is rated at ASHRAE standard 52-76 and retains 118 grams of dust per 2.25 sq. ft. (20 x 20 filter). Resistance when clean is 0.5 w.g. and average arrestance is 69%. Maximum temperature range on the Smith FOAM FILTER is 250 degrees F.
This filter was designed to filter out small dust particles in computers and other high technological equipment. It can be used in machinery applications, vents, air cleaners and other filter applications where a permanent filter would be advantageous
