The SUV of safety footwear, the non-metallic Roan Mountain was engineered to blend the best of two worlds - the looks and stable performance of classic welted construction, found in the forefoot, and the heel fit and under-foot lightweight cushioning typically found in pinnacle athletic footwear and featuring our exclusive REVIVE™ foam. Our team was inspired by occupations such as Maintenance workers who spend significant time both indoors and outdoors, as well as by haulers who pick up and haul freight from yards in varying conditions and in a host of climates. We've combined a wide base of forefoot stability, lightweight nano composite safety toe protection, and an abrasion-resistant rubber toe with other protective elements such as waterproof leather, waterproof membrane construction, and 400 grams of insulation to keep you dry and warm. Comfort features such as a soft, quilted Achilles pad for flexibility and an insole made from lightweight, open-cell polyurethane help reduce break-in time and allow you to focus on the job without distraction. Our exclusive our slip-, clog-, abrasion-, and oil-resistant GLADIATOR™ outsole exceeds ASTM F3445-21 slip resistance standards, yet provides great durability and versatile traction outdoors.
