Full Fan Service Course Training

This is a hands-on class, and you will learn how to repair and replace each component of an exhaust fan during the class. Everyone will learn every aspect of the service from start to finish.
We will provide you with How-to manuals and class information during the course for easy referral information. You will receive an items list of recommended tools, parts, etc. to have what you need to start your company’s Fan Service Division.
This course will be a supervisor/lead technician level or higher course, so feel free to send employees or bring them with (recommended the owner and/or service supervisor attend). We will be providing course completion certificates for each attendee as well.
Course Outline would be:
1) Terminology of all of the components
2) How to Remove the fan Blades and replace
3) How to Replace the bearings
4) How to Replace the motor
5) How to check Amp Draws
6) Understanding the functions of the components of the fan
7) How to replace Motor Mounts
8) How to replace an entire Exhaust fan
9) How to add a curb Adapter to Raise an exhaust fan off the roof and properly match a fan to a curb
10) Equipment needs, rental, and operation of a Boom Lift
11) Matching a kitchen exhaust system and cooking equipment to a new exhaust fan
12) Full hands-on with motor wiring of both 1 and 3 Phase motors
13) Setting up the new service division, selling, pricing, and ongoing services
14) Hinge kits, grease containment, access panels and addressing other deficiencies of a kitchen exhaust system
15) Equipment, Tools, and tricks-of-the-trade with hands-on use and training of all tools
16) We will be completing a hands-on, on-site upblast fan installation on the roof (weather permitting)
Costs
$2575 for 1st attendee of a company
$2250 for every additional attendee from the same company
