It can also be used for media blast protection & surface masking and for other challenging repair, bundling and seaming applications. Polyken 231 Duct Tape benefits include: high tensile strength; extremely conformable; crisp, straight tear; moisture, solvent & abrasion resistant; and has aggressive adhesion to most surfaces. It is manufactured to conform to ASTM Specification D-5486 Type IV, Class 1 (supersedes US Military Mil Spec PPP-T-60E and PPP-T-60D)
